Nurse…? that may be my title,
but…I am more than just a person who wears a stethoscope and checks your vitals.
My skills extend beyond the treatment of illnesses —whether the disease is a disorder, something bacterial, or viral.
I think when they referred to me as “Nurse” that may have been a typo.
I am a healer, here with them through all kinds of distress.
I encourage them when they are depressed—
treating and recognizing them as human beings—even when…they consider themselves less.
I encourage them to remain optimistic, regardless of the results of their test(s).
I am their informal chaplain- aiding them to cope with anxiety and stress;
enchanting their spirits —intangibly delivering their prayers to GOD, with great hopes…their prayers manifest.
Nevertheless,
being a nurse requires finesse.
In all aspects, my duty is to ensure that you, and your loved ones are emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically, at their very best.
